The deadline for nominations is January 31, 2027. Awards will be based on campaigns or fundraiser efforts that took place during the 2026 calendar year. Official winner announcements will take place at GiveCon. One nomination per category is permitted for each individual, and self-submissions are welcome.
Award Descriptions
Game Changing Campaign Award
This award is dedicated to an organization's campaign or event that has gone above and beyond in the nonprofit sector. The winning campaign will have not only surpassed their fundraising goals, but also used innovative strategies and leveraged technology to set new standards for creativity.
Heart of Service Campaign Award
This award celebrates the creative use of volunteer acquisition and retention efforts in an organization's campaign or event. The winning campaign should also demonstrate unique volunteer recognition and stewardship that fosters a culture of service and positive community outcomes, further motivating new and returning volunteers.
Good Neighbor Campaign Award
This award pays tribute to an organization's campaign or event that has made remarkable community impact. The campaign not only reached the organization's goals, but significantly enhanced the well-being of their community. This award will showcase creative strategy, results achieved, and an unwavering commitment to community betterment.
Dynamic Duo Campaign Award
This award highlights an organization's campaign or event that has creatively engaged a strategic partner to execute their initiative, demonstrating remarkable collaboration. With the help of a strategic partner, the campaign should have not only achieved its fundraising goals, but also fostered a deeper connection with its audience and partners.
Fundraiser of the Year Award
This award recognizes an individual fundraiser who displays exceptional skill and innovation in the nonprofit sector, living the values of their mission through their unwavering dedication. They will have managed to deeply engage and inspire donors and/or volunteers, translating narrative into action. Their passion for the mission cultivated strong donor relationships and awareness for their organization.

Game Changing Campaign
The winner of the 2026 Game-Changing Campaign award was Well Aware of Austin, Texas. Their H2gO campaign raised more than $200,000 after it launched in 2025, funding clean water access for more than 10,000 people across East Africa. With more than 200 participants, many of them first-time fundraisers, the campaign virtually mapped their progress over 30 miles through six real communities that Well Aware serves, making a clear connection to mission.
Fundraiser of the Year
The 2026 Fundraiser of the Year was Meredith Harrison from Canine Companions in Santa Rose, California. As Senior Events Manager, she leads national strategy and collaborates with regional teams hosting signature fundraising events across the country. In 2025, her leadership of event strategies generated more than $6.3 million to provide expertly trained service dogs—free of charge—that empower children, adults and veterans with disabilities.
Heart of Service
Nourish Meals on Wheels was the 2026 winner of the Heart of Service Award for excellence in volunteer management. Their 12 Days of Giving campaign brought together 1250 volunteer shifts to prepare 8500 gifts for their clients in South Metro Denver. One in three of these clients shared that the meal and gifts delivered by Nourish volunteers was their only holiday celebration last year, and more than 90% said their holidays felt brighter.
Dynamic Duo
The 2026 Dynamic Duo partnership award winners were the Tatton Brown Rahman Syndrome Community (Stanfordville, NY) and Thread Strategies (Washington, DC). The TBRS Community’s end-of-year campaign raised 108% of its goal to launch the very first Center of Excellence for coordinated care and treatment of this complex and rare genetic disorder. Supported by Thread Strategies, TBRS also saw a 113% YOY increase in first-time donors.
Good Neighbor
The 2026 Good Neighbor Givie Award went to Eye Thrive of St. Louis, Missouri. Celebrated for their efforts in fundraising and building community, Eye Thrive’s award-winning end-of-year campaign raised over $101,000, exceeding expectations by 164%. These funds have already provided more than 13,000 vision screenings, 3700 prescription glasses—and 1500 replacement pairs—to local children.
