Central Florida Speech and Hearing Center (CFSHC) delivers life-changing speech, language, audiology, and balance services to individuals and families across its community. When disconnected data systems left the team struggling to build a complete picture of donor relationships, the Center expanded their longstanding partnership with Bloomerang’s fundraising tools by adding its CRM. Using Bloomerang’s Giving Platform, they streamlined participant tracking, voting, and donations, reducing staff workload and increasing transparency. This shift resulted in a 4x boost in donations, raising nearly $198,000. For several years, CFSHC managed fundraising for community events manually, relying on spreadsheets to track participant votes and donations. Without accurate, centralized records, the team struggled to deliver the transparent, engaging experience that motivates supporters to give. They brought on Bloomerang Fundraising in 2008, and its peer-to-peer feature simplified event tracking and reduced manual errors. As the organization grew over the next decade-plus, an operational gap became harder to ignore: donor data, event records, and communications lived across separate tools, such as their previous CRM provider, FrontStream.
That fragmentation made it difficult to understand the full arc of a donor relationship—who was giving, why they gave, and how to deepen their connection to the mission over time. Without a unified view of engagement, the team couldn't consistently deliver the kind of personalized, timely outreach that keeps supporters invested for the long haul. As Haisee Lazo, Marketing and Media Manager at the Center, explained, "Before adding the CRM, information often lived in multiple places, which made it harder to see the full picture of donor engagement and long-term relationship building."

When the Center added the CRM to their existing fundraising tools as part of Bloomerang’s Giving Platform, the improvements were noticeable right away. “We decided to add the CRM product because we needed a more unified and organized way to manage our donor relationships, fundraising efforts, event data, and communication,” said Lazo, pointing to digital email tools and segmentation as standout features that transformed the team's day-to-day work. "These tools help us communicate with donors more efficiently, share our mission in a timely way, and keep supporters connected to specific campaigns and giving opportunities.”
With Bloomerang's segmentation capabilities, the Center tailored messaging for different supporter groups—from marketing and thank-you notes to appeals and event promotion—all within one platform. The contrast with their previous approach was clear. "Our old way of doing things could feel scattered and time-consuming," Lazo explained. "Now, having fundraising tools and CRM capabilities connected helps our team feel more organized, intentional, and confident in how we communicate with supporters."
The combination of the CRM and Fundraising tools are also keeping donor data at the forefront of campaign and event planning. “It helps us keep our data more organized, which is so important when trying to make thoughtful decisions around fundraising, donor communication, and future outreach," said Lazo. “Plus, reporting helps us see which campaigns are getting the most response, which donors may need follow-up, and where we may need to adjust our messaging or strategy. It allows us to prioritize outreach, strengthen donor relationships, and make better decisions about how we communicate with our supporters.”

CFSHC's peer-to-peer events have proven the power of Bloomerang Fundraising, with a 4x boost in donations and nearly $198,000 raised. With Bloomerang CRM now part of the picture too, the team gained something equally powerful: the ability to turn data into decisions. Reporting tools gave the Center a sharper view of campaign performance, donor activity, and giving trends—information they used to prioritize outreach and adjust strategy with confidence.
"Reporting has helped us become more intentional with our outreach," Lazo said. "Instead of guessing what is working, we can look at the data and use that information to guide our next steps." That shift from reactive guesswork to intentional, data-informed action opened new possibilities for the team. With a unified platform connecting their fundraising and donor management, they freed up bandwidth to focus on what they do best.
As Lazo shared, "It feels good knowing that when our team has better systems in place, we can spend more time focusing on the mission and the people we serve."
