Key Nonprofit Highlights
The Jewish Fertility Foundation provides financial assistance to Jewish families with fertility challenges and educational awareness and emotional support to anyone on a family-building journey. What began as a local effort in Atlanta, Georgia has grown into a nationwide presence spanning 10 cities. With Bloomerang’s intuitive, purpose-built platform, they’ve been able to scale that growth without losing sight of their donors or their mission. They gained clear visibility into their supporter data, streamlined reporting, and strengthened relationships across every location.
As a result, they improved donor retention and dramatically increased fundraising—growing from raising a little less than $400,000 a year to now $3.2 million annually, for a total of $9,287,252 raised in 11 years. In that time, they’ve also distributed 532 fertility grants and allocated over $3.2 million in grants, loans, and clinic discounts to families in need. Bloomerang helped empower their team to focus more on their mission and expand their impact to Jewish families across the country.
Challenge
Finding the right giving platform to support rapid nonprofit growth
The Jewish Fertility Foundation experienced rapid early momentum, and as the organization expanded from Atlanta to cities across the country, the complexity grew with it. Managing donor relationships, tracking client needs, and staying organized across 10 locations became increasingly difficult without the right tools in place. “We grew fast as an organization and had to get organized with our donors and clients,” said Elana Frank, Executive Director and Founder.
The team needed more than just a database. They needed a solution built for nonprofits, one that could scale alongside a growing national mission and bring clarity to an expanding network of supporters. After exploring their options and speaking with peers, they found a platform that checked every box: intuitive, affordable, and ready to grow with them.
Solution
Bloomerang reporting turns insight into action
With Bloomerang, the Jewish Fertility Foundation found a smarter, simpler way to stay connected to their community, no matter where that community lives. The platform’s ease of use made onboarding seamless, while its powerful reporting capabilities gave the team a clearer, unified picture of their fundraising efforts across all locations. Pulling reports for leadership, financial tracking, and strategic planning became faster and far more impactful.
Frank shared that Bloomerang helps them easily access the insights they need for their “board, fundraising, and accounting.” Bloomerang brings together donor, board, and client data into one unified system—making it easier to understand every relationship and respond with intention, whether that supporter is in Atlanta or any of their nine other cities. As Frank put it, “It is catered to not only our donors but board members, clients, and beyond.”
And behind the platform is a team that truly understands nonprofit work. “The people at Bloomerang practice what they preach and are knowledgeable about the product and fundraising,” shared Frank. With responsive support and a product that evolves alongside customer needs, the Foundation gained a partner invested in their success at every stage of growth.
Results
Stronger donor insights, higher retention, and exponential growth
With the right tools in place, everything changed. The Jewish Fertility Foundation now has a clear, connected view of their supporters across all 10 cities, making it easier to see giving history, personalize outreach, and strengthen relationships over time. “We now have a better understanding of who gave what and when,” shared Frank.
Tracking constituents, capturing meaningful data, and generating reports is no longer a burden—it’s a strategic advantage that has scaled alongside the organization itself. And that clarity is paying off in one of the most important areas: donor retention. The numbers tell a powerful story of real-world impact: 362 babies born, 78 current pregnancies, 532 fertility grants distributed, and over $3.2 million in grants, loans, and clinic discounts allocated to families in need since they were founded. And the fundraising growth that made it all possible is equally striking: “In 2018-19, we were raising between $330,000 and $400,000 a year. With all our expansion, we have raised over $9 million total over our 11 years!”
What started as a single chapter in Atlanta is now a national movement, and Bloomerang has been a key part of making that expansion sustainable. With the right platform in place, the team can focus less on managing data and more on advancing their mission, building relationships, and fueling impact across every community they serve: “I sure wouldn’t be able to track donations, cultivation, and thank you’s without Bloomerang.”
For the Jewish Fertility Foundation, Bloomerang helped turn rapid growth into sustainable momentum, empowering them to reach more families, in more cities, with the compassion and care they deserve.
